What should my children wear on the equipment?
Both children and adults must be wearing socks whilst on the main playframe and toddller area. Arms and legs should be covered to reduce the risk of friction burns on the slides. Clothes with cords that could get caught in the play equipment should not be worn in the play area.
Do you have invites?
Yes we have a selection of high quality printed invitations to choose from. They are available to collect from reception.
There are also electronic A4 single sided pdf versions available that are sent as an attachment to the party booking confirmation email. These can be printed at home.

Can I get a refund or reschedule my booking?
Bookings are subject to our Terms and Conditions, and refunds aren’t available once a session has been booked.
If you need to move a booking, requests must be made by email at least 4 hours before your session start time. A £5 administration fee applies, and bookings can be moved to a date within 3 months of the original booking, subject to availability and for the same ticket type.
Bookings can’t be changed after the session has taken place.

Do we need to book tickets before we visit?
We recommend booking online in advance to guarantee entry especially at busy times*, as walk-ins are subject to availability.
We offer a range of session times from 1.5 to 2.5 hours, which can be booked throughout the day (every 15 minutes).
*Our busiest times are usually in the middle of the day, especially on the weekends and during the school holidays.

When is the quietest time to visit at the weekend and holidays?

Can I bring extra helium ballons and decorations? (copy)
We do not allow helium balloons in the centre as they can cause significant damage to our heating system.
As the party booths are already themed, we do not allow any addiitonal decorations to be put up in the party booths for the banquet as it can damage our murals and wall decorations.

What ages is Head Over Heels best for?
Head Over Heels is best suited for babies, toddlers, and children, with different play areas designed for each stage.
Children using the play equipment must be under 1.55m in height.
Younger children (0–3 years) have a dedicated area with managed entry including soft play, sensory and role play areas designed for safe early exploration with their adult.
Older children (4+ years) can enjoy larger soft play, active, and interactive areas designed for independent play.
There are also shared family spaces suitable for mixed-age visits.
Adults can relax in comfortable seating areas with Wi-Fi and quality food while supervising their children.
How long can children play for?
You can choose a session length that suits your visit, between 1½, 2 and 2½ hours, and this includes all your time in the building, including play and eating in the café.
If you’re planning to eat with us, we recommend choosing a longer 2.5 hour session for a more relaxed experience, and we also offer a Meal & Play Deal ticket option.
If you’d like to extend your stay, a Stay Longer option is available and is calculated and payable on exit; however, it may not be available when we are very busy or fully booked — please ask at reception when you arrive.
On school days only, session time is unlimited, so you’re welcome to stay and play all day for your admission charge.

What would you recommend to wear on a hot day?
Friction burns hurt, so however hot the weather outside, we recommend bringing some extra clothes to cover up and protect arms and legs. We are air conditioned, so players can still have fun.
Can I bring my own entertainer for the party?
No, we don't allow outside entertainers to be brought in for parties.
We can offer a visit from Eva the Diva, the Head Over Heels Mascot for an additional charge of £25.
The Platinum, Gold, Silver, Build a Magical Creature and Ultimate School Day Parties do include 20-30 minutes of hosted games and entertainment as party of the package.

Do adults need a ticket too?
Yes — all adults enter as non-players and require a Non-Player ticket.
Children over 1.55m are classed as Non Players. Non Players who are under 18 years old are not permitted in the play areas or in the toddler area, not even to supervise younger children.

Yes. The main playframe is designed for children aged 4 and over up to a maximum height of 1.55cm. Adults are allowed on the playframe for supervision purposes only if required.
The seperate baby and toddler area is for 3's and under only with adult supervision at all times.

If you buy the Platinum or Gold Party Package, a personalised and customised cake from award winning Cheshire baker Peter Herd is included.
If you choose any of the other party or celebration meal packages, you can add a themed and personalised cake for £55 as an extra to your party booking. We can also offer Unicorn and Dragon cakes starting from £85.

Do I need to wear socks on the play frame?
For health and safety everyone must wear socks or tights in the play areas. Socks are available to buy at reception if you forget.
Is there a separate area for babies and toddlers?
Yes. We have dedicated, gated baby and toddler play areas with soft play, sensory, and role-play activities, designed for children aged 0–3 years to play safely and confidently at their own pace. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
To keep this area calm and safe, access is limited to babies and toddlers only, in line with our Fair Play Policy. Older siblings and children aren’t able to enter or supervise in this space.
We follow recognised indoor play safety guidelines and are proud to hold the RoSPA Play Quality GOLD Award.

Can I bring a picnic?
Picnics are not allowed. Only food and drink purchased at Head Over Heels can be consumed on the premises. The only exception is for baby food, and we have a microwave and can also warm bottles in hot water. Please ask at the cafe counter for help.
Is there food and drink available on site?
Yes — we have a family-friendly café that’s well known for its quality award winning food, and many families choose to make it part of their visit.
We’re proud to source ingredients locally from trusted suppliers, including W.H. Frost Butchers, and our fair-trade teas and coffees come from Worker Bee MCR, who donate a portion of their sales to local charities supporting the community. We also work with Belu Water, a carbon-neutral social enterprise that gives 100% of its profits to WaterAid.
Our menus include a wide range of vegetarian, vegan, and halal options, and we offer gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives where possible. We’re always happy to help with special dietary requirements — just speak to the café team.
The only outside food we allow is baby food. We have a microwave available and can warm bottles in hot water — please ask at the café counter for assistance.
To keep the centre safe and enjoyable for everyone, picnics are not permitted, and only food and drink purchased at Head Over Heels may be consumed on the premises.

A: For your birthday celebration at headoverheelsplay, all you need to bring is your ow(http://Celebration.You)n birthday cake and candles to make the party extra special. If you'd prefer a personalised and customised cake, we offer the option to order directly from award-winning Cheshire baker Peter Herd. To ensure your cake is perfect and ready for the big day, please provide at least 7 working days' notice. We recommend ordering as early as possible to avoid disappointment and help us create a magical celebration for your little one.

Is there a height limit for playing?
Yes — for safety reasons, children using the play equipment must be under 1.55 metres tall.
Children over this height are very welcome to visit as non-players and enjoy the café and seating areas, but they’re not able to enter the play areas, including for supervision purposes.
Safety is very important to us, and our Fair Play Policy follows recognised European indoor play safety guidelines.

Can I set up a tab for my guests
Yes you can, and your party host will organise this for you at the beginning of your party. You can order drinks from the menu at the party reception. The tab is settled at the end of the party.
We also offer our exclusive Adult Sharing Platter Menu which offers a selections of breakfast, cakes and savoury options suitable for sharing. Each platter caters for 8-10 adults. These can be ordered in advance or on the day. They are usually served after the children's banquet.

The Electric Cars are designed for children aged 3-12 years of age . Children aged under 3 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. Smaller children aged 5 and under may also be accompanied by a responsible adult if the child is too nervous to ride alone initially. The combined weight of both riders must not exceed 20 stone. Children must be supervised from the trackside at all times by a responsible adult. There is a charge of 1 token per 3 minute ride which can be purchased at the token machine or at reception.
If you purchase a GOLD Party Package. The children will receive a wristband which give them access to this ride.
When is the quiestest time to visit?
At weekends and during school holidays in the winter months we can get really busy, if you want to avoid the crowds, early mornings and late afternoons are usually our quieter times.
Can you cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes we can. We offer as standard, vegetarian and halal menus. We can also cater for wheat free and gluten free diets with prior notice. We can also offer a Kosher menu for an additional charge.

Can I bring cakes from home for the adult guests?
As part of our health and safety requirements, we can not allow food that has not prepared or supplied by Head Over Heels to be consumed on the premises.
All birthday cakes are taken away after the Celebration Ceremony and sliced and wrapped to go in the party bags at the end of the party. Any left over cake with be wrapped for you to take home.
If you would like to offer your adult guests something to eat, we do offer a selection of cakes as party of our Adult Sharing Platter Menus, plus you can open a tab and order from the cafe menu.

Is it easy to park?
There is a small car park at the front of the building on Commercial Avenue with disabled parking. There is a large car park at the back of the building accessible from Earl Road.
At weekends only there is additional over flow car parking on Commercial Avenue with a Head Over Heels attendant on the barrier.

Do you have any special offers?
For the best deal of the day, the Mega Meal and Play Deal includes 2.5 hour session, a children's meal and choice of drink.

Both children and adults must be wearing socks whilst on the main playframe and toddller area. Arms and legs should be covered to reduce the risk of friction burns on the slides. Clothes with cords that could get caught in the play equipment should not be worn in the play area.
Children's and adult socks are usually available to purchase at reception.

You can bring your own, and once the Celebration Ceremony is over, we then cut and wrap the cake for guests to take home.
If required, we can provide a personanlised and customised cake from award winning Cheshire bakers, Peter Herd. Prices start from £55 and require a minimim of 5 working days notice.

Yes you can, and your party host will organise this for you at the beginning of your party. You can order drinks from the menu at the party reception. The tab is settled at the end of the party.
We also offer our exclusive Adult Sharing Platter Menu which offers a selections of breakfast, cakes and savoury options suitable for sharing. Each platter caters for 8-10 adults. These can be ordered in advance or on the day. They are usually served after the children's banquet.

Yes we can. We offer as standard, vegetarian and halal menus. We can also cater for wheat free and gluten free diets with prior notice. We can also offer a Kosher menu for an additional charge.

Can I bring cakes from home for the adult guests?
As part of our health and safety requirements, we can not allow food that has not prepared or supplied by Head Over Heels to be consumed on the premises.
All birthday cakes are taken away after the Celebration Ceremony and sliced and wrapped to go in the party bags at the end of the party. Any left over cake with be wrapped for you to take home.
If you would like to offer your adult guests something to eat, we do offer a selection of cakes as party of our Adult Sharing Platter Menus, plus you can open a tab and order from the cafe menu.

Where can I park if the car park is full?
Head Over Heels Chorlton has a small car park of 16 spaces at the front the building for customers only. If this is full, there is nearby street parking or alternatively, you can park for a small charge at Chorlton precinct which is a 5 minute walk away.
Please do not park in local businesses car parks without permission, you may be asked to move or may receive a fine.
Do I need to pre book?
We recommend pre-booking tickets to guarantee entry. Tickets can be booked up to and during a session time. More information can be found on the Head Over Heels Wilmslow Book Tickets (javascript:void(0))page.
Walk-ins are welcome, but if we are full, we cannot guarantee entry, but can advise the next available entry time.
Is there parking at Head Over heels Chorlton?
Head Over Heels has a small car park (16 cars) at the front of the building for customers only. Once this is full, there is nearby street parking.
We are next to the Chorlton Metrolink and local bus stops.
Please do not park in local businesses' car parks without permission; you may be asked to move or may receive a fine.
