Party children play and have fun on the play structure under supervision of the attending adults. Head Over Heels recommends at least 1 adult for every 5 children. Parents and helpers should familiarise themselves with our Fair Play Policy and the locations of Fire Exits, First Aid Stations and toilets.
Please note that older children in excess of 1.55m are not allowed to supervise younger children on the play frame or in the toddler area.
The food we serve in our parties is just as important to us as the amazing play experiences we provide. It’s our goal to produce scrumptious food whilst keeping a careful eye on the sodium, fat and sugar levels. We offer vegetarian, vegan and Halal menu options. We are also happy to try and meet any special dietary requirements of any member of your party if we are notified in advance. Please contact the centre or ask the parent to get in touch with us directly.
If you are planning to bring a Birthday Cake for the celebration ceremony, this is cut and wrapped and given to the children to take home at the end of the party. Only birthday cake purchased from Head Over Heels can be consumed on the premises.
We offer a selection of party extras including customised birthday cakes*, cupcakes and adult sharing platters. You can also upgrade this package to a Silver Party and enjoy a hosted 20 minute session of high energy games in the disco room or sports court with your party host and party bags for just an extra £2 per child. *Minimum 3 working days required for Birthday Cake orders.
Deposit and Final Payment
The Bronze Party costs from only £215.40 for 12 children (maximum 30). Additional children £17.95 per child.
A £100 non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.
Please aim to pay the outstanding balance at least a week before the party. The final day for payments and guest numbers is 3 days before the party. All children attending the party must be registered and paid for. If you have not paid the balance 3 days before the party, then we will ring you with a reminder.
Unfortunately, any parties unpaid after this time will not go ahead and any deposit will be lost.

BRONZE PARTY ITINERARY AT A GLANCE
Host arrives 10 minutes before party
Guest list registration form given to reception
Approximately half way through the party the Birthday Cake Celebration (cake not included in this package) will take place in the party booth

Children are called 5-10 minutes before the end of the party to get ready to leave
Host to give party bags and cake (if provided by host) whilst HOH receptionist gives Balloons and Thank you cards on departure as guests check out

Party Bags (If you are providing)
We suggest that you arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start time for your party.
We have a small car park at the front of the building near the entrance and a large car park at the back (off Earl Road). During busy weekends these can become full however there is a large overflow car park on Commercial Avenue on the opposite side of the road to our building which is behind a barrier. The barrier is not automatic but can be raised by our staff. This is partially manned however if you or your guests have difficulty finding a space please inform reception who will be happy to provide access to these spaces. Please note the overflow car park is only available for our use at the weekend.
The counter to the right as you enter is the party reception. Please give the completed registration sheet to the party receptionist on arrival, they will use this to check your guests in when they arrive and then show them to your table. The receptionist will provide you with a key for a large locker, a bucket to hold shoes, a clear large plastic bag for presents and stickers for the party child and adult in charge. There is room in your locker for shoes, coats, and presents.
A table or tables with 12 seats are reserved as a meeting point for the adults in your party. You will be offered the option of setting up a tab for drinks and table service for your party. You will also be able to order food from the Adult Sharing Platter Menu. On the table, you will have paper party cups and jugs of cordial for the children’s consumption only.
Free Style Play for the first half of the party
Once the children have removed their shoes they will be able to play and have fun with their friends on the play frame.
Birthday Cake and Party Food
Approximately half way through the party the children will be called over the microphone to come to their party booth. They will be met by their party host and take their seats with the party child in the centre. Antibacterial hand gel is mounted on the wall of the party booth. It is strongly recommended that the children make use of this prior to eating.
The Happy Birthday Celebration Ceremony (cake not included) takes place in the booth before the food is served. It is requested, for safety reasons, that the adults do not enter the area in the centre of the booth at this time, and that they stand back and give the party host plenty of room when carrying the cake with the lighted candles. Have your cameras ready and please let your host know if you would like to retake a shot.
Children's Party Food
During the children’s party food service, it is important that parents continue to supervise their children. The food is for the consumption of the children only and must not be eaten by the adult party guests. The food is served with the fruit and crudities first to encourage healthy eating. This is followed by the sandwiches and then the hot food. The party hosts will continue to serve food whilst the children are hungry. When the children have for the most part finished their food and before they get restless the ice lollies are served.
The End of The Party
The children are called over the microphone approximately 5-10 minutes before the end of the party to allow them time to return to their parents, put shoes on and say their goodbyes. As the children leave they will be checked off the list and they will receive their party bag (not included) with cake and a Head Over Heels Balloon. Once your guests have gone please ensure that you have gathered up all your belongings and taken everything out of your locker. If you have a tab to pay then this can be settled at reception. Please remember to return your locker key. The receptionist will be happy to assist you in carrying your presents to your car.
