Cabana Semi Private
Party Information

Set-up Time

Access to the Cabana area for set-up only is permitted from 2.30pm. All decorations to be installed after 2.30pm, and removed within 1 hour after the party finish time. No helium balloons can be used in the centre. All deliveries to the cabana area must take place after 2.30pm by prior arrangement.

Arrival Time

We suggest that you arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start time for your party.

Parking Information

We offer 70 car parking spaces at the venue and have a small car park at the front of the building near the entrance and a large car park at the back (off Earl Road). Please allow time for parking. If the car parks are full, then additional parking can be found at the local retail sites which are a short walk away.

Reception

The counter to the right as you enter is the party reception. Please give the completed registration sheet to the party receptionist on arrival, they will use this to check your guests in when they arrive and then show them to your table. The receptionist will provide you with a key for a large locker, a bucket to hold shoes, a clear large plastic bag for presents and stickers for the party child and adult in charge. There is room in your locker for shoes, coats, and presents.

Your Semi Private Cabanas and Lounge

You will have exclusive use of the Cabana's and the Cabana Deck semi-private lounge area for the duration of your party. You will be offered the option of setting up a tab for drinks for your party. Should you wish to take up this offer then your guests will be offered a drink as they arrive and throughout the party if you wish. On the table, you will have paper party cups and jugs of cordial for the children’s consumption only.

Free Style Play for the first half of the party

Once the children have removed their shoes they will be able to play and have fun with their friends on the play frame and electric cars. Please note that restrictions apply:

• Electric Cars: These rides are designed for children aged 3-12 years of age.

• Children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

 

Dancing and Games in the Disco Room or Team Games in the Sports Court 

Approximately 30 minutes into your party the children will be called to our disco room or sports court for some age appropriate games. All adult guests are welcome to join the children should they wish. A minimum level of supervision is essential (1 adult - 5 children).

Birthday Cake and Party Food

Approximately half way through the party the children will be called over the microphone to come to the Cabana Deck semi private lounge. They will be met by their party host and take their seats with the party child in the centre. Antibacterial hand gel is mounted on the wall at the entrance of the Cabana Deck. It is strongly recommended that the children make use of this prior to eating.

 

The Happy Birthday Celebration Ceremony (cake not included) takes place in the booth before the food is served. It is requested, for safety reasons, that the adults stand back and give the party host plenty of room when carrying the cake with the lighted candles. Have your cameras ready and please let your host know if you would like to retake a shot.

 

Children's Party Food

During the children’s party food service, it is important that parents continue to supervise their children. The food is served with the fruit and crudities first to encourage healthy eating. This is followed by the sandwiches and then the hot food. The party hosts will continue to serve food whilst the children are hungry. When the children have for the most part finished their food and before they get restless the ice lollies are served. The adult buffet will be served after the children's food.

The End of The Party

The children are called over the microphone approximately 5-10 minutes before the end of the party to allow them time to return to their parents, put shoes on and say their goodbyes. As the children leave they will be checked off the list and they will receive their party bag with cake. Once your guests have gone please ensure that you have gathered up all your belongings and taken everything out of your locker. If you have a tab to pay then this can be settled at reception. Please remember to return your locker key. The receptionist will be happy to assist you in carrying your presents to your car.
